Do it yourself programs certainly have their downfall – I should know – having been in the mortgage industry I did the ‘do it yourself’ plan for years. My brutal confession – it had less than desirable results. No consistency! After nearly 8 years of house payments I had barely been able to put a dent in the principle balance of my loan.
